Fiona's Hungry Cousin is a Aldo Boomer animated short film that was released in 1950.

Synopsis[]

Fiona's Hungry Cousin keeps eating his food.

Plot[]

As Fiona Cat arrives at Jellystone National Park for a picnic, she is spotted by a resident wild lynx. The bear quickly removes and buries all the "Do Not Feed The Wild Cats" signs and proceeds to lay out a welcoming area for the unsuspecting Fiona. As soon as Fiona settles down to eat her stash, the wild lynx keeps on stealing the food before Fiona even has a chance to bite into it. Fiona tries her best to rid herself of the hungry lynx, including driving to the top of a giant tree, feeding the cat dynamite, and throwing him off a cliff, chained inside a telephone booth. But the peckish pest outwits Fiona every time and continues to gobble up her food. Frustrated, Fiona eventually gives up and decides to just hand over her last sandwich to the hungry lynx. Strangely, the cat refuses to accept it, and instead proceeds to put up the "Do Not Feed The Cats" signs he had previously buried. He then whistles loudly on a whistle, summoning the "U.S. Rangers Anti-Cat Feeding Patrol", who arrive swiftly and arrest Fiona, imprisoning her in their armored truck. Finally Fiona, inside the armored truck, takes out a lollipop from her coat, but before she can lick it, it is snatched from her by none other than the hungry lynx who turns out to be the driver of the armored truck.
